Hi — I'm glad you're here.
Most people arrive in therapy after holding a whole lot together for a long time. You don't have to perform wellness for me. You can show up tired, unsure, mid-sentence, or honestly saying “girl, I don't even know.” That counts as a starting place.
Life be lifeing. Sometimes the goal isn't to fix everything at once — it's to understand what's happening, what it's costing you, and what would actually help.
My background spans child welfare, early childhood mental health, NICU work, Head Start childhood mental health, work with children and families, and private practice. Across all of it, one thing stayed consistent: behavior tells a story. So we get curious instead of critical, and we ask three questions: what happened, what is this doing for you, and what do you need now?
I see the whole person, not a diagnosis. Your culture, family, faith, values, and lived experience aren't background details — they're part of how healing happens.
“I see you. Come as you are. We'll start there.”
My approach
Warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence
My work is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and integrative — I draw from several approaches and shape them around you rather than the other way around. For ADHD and executive functioning, that includes practical strategies for organization, planning, task initiation, time management, emotional regulation, and routines you can actually sustain.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
- Strengths-Based Therapy
- Person-Centered Therapy
- Family Systems–informed interventions
- Trauma-Informed Care
- Play-Based Interventions
- Psychoeducation
When Yaad & Bloom may not be the right fit
Yaad & Bloom is an outpatient psychotherapy practice. That means it may not be the right level of care for someone who currently needs intensive crisis stabilization, inpatient treatment, medically supervised substance-use treatment, or another higher level of behavioral health care.
If what you need falls outside the scope of this practice, that isn't a door closing. Kaidian may discuss more appropriate next steps with you so you're not left figuring it out alone.
