How we work

Curious, not critical

Sessions are warm, collaborative and trauma-informed. Kaidian draws on Family Systems–informed interventions, Person-Centered and Strengths-Based work, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, CBT, Play-Based Interventions with younger family members, and psychoeducation so everyone understands what's happening and why.

The practice is affirming of culture, family structure, identity, spirituality, values and lived experience. You do not have to explain your family before you can be helped by it.

“Behavior tells a story. Our job is to listen to it before we try to change it.”
